(July 22, 2025) — Boone Center, Inc. (BCI) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 15 to celebrate the expansion of its Lincoln County facility. Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe joined the celebration, offering remarks in support of Missouri’s Extended Employment Sheltered Workshops and the important role organizations like BCI play in empowering individuals with disabilities through meaningful work.

The expansion added 10,000 square feet of warehouse space to BCI’s existing 23,000-square-foot facility in Moscow Mills, enhancing the nonprofit’s ability to meet growing customer demand, streamline operations, and create additional job opportunities for individuals with disabilities across the region.

During his visit, Governor Kehoe toured BCI’s packaging facility and met with local business, economic development, and workforce leaders from Lincoln County. He also spoke directly to BCI team members with disabilities, expressing his admiration for the pride, dedication, and value they bring to their work each day.

“It was an honor to welcome the governor to this milestone event,” said BCI CEO Troy Compardo. “We’re grateful for the strong city, county, and state support as we continue our mission to provide purpose and opportunity for adults of all abilities. This expansion allows us to grow that impact.”
