(April 8, 2025) BCI is accepting applications for free, four-week summer camps in Missouri and Illinois. The experiences are designed for high school students with disabilities who are interested in manufacturing.

The Missouri camp will be held at the Lewis & Clark Career Center, 2400 Zumbehl Rd, St. Charles, MO 63301. The Illinois camp will be held at World Wide Technology’s North American Integration Center, 107 Gateway Commerce Center Dr N, Edwardsville, IL 62025.

Thanks to a generous grant from SparkForce, the charitable foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, both camps will run weekdays from July 14 to August 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The Missouri camp is limited to 15 participants, while the Illinois camp has room for five.

Both camps will offer a blend of instructor-led lessons and hands-on activities, along with field trips to local manufacturing firms for immersive learning experiences. All participants will then apply their new skills to create a capstone project.
