You are invited to BCI’s next virtual speaker series on Thursday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. The free event, led by St. Peters attorney and disability advocate Lorna Frahm, will cover the topics of guardianship and conservatorship.

Attendees will gain insights into the legal and practical aspects of guardianship including types (full, limited, successor), filing, fees, summons, termination, conservatorship, and special needs trusts, with insights into court requirements and legal standards.

“This presentation is an extension of the last speaker series we hosted last October,” said BCI Chief Program Officer of Organizational Employment and Advocacy Katie Jones. “We hope by taking a closer look at these topics, we will empower families to make informed decisions for their loved ones.”

The presentation is free and open to all. However, advance registration is required at https://bit.ly/BCIspeakerseries.
